Latest readings from my weather station in Moni Cyprus
Welcome to my weather station which is at Moni, near Limassol, Cyprus.
The weather station in use is WH2080 and the readings are updated every 5 minutes. You will need to refresh/reload the page if the time of the readings is more than 5 minutes ago. Chrome users should right click inside the weather frame and 'reload frame' to force a refresh. The metereological day used ends at midnight.
The weather station is connected to a Raspberry Pi - the 35$ marvel. The system software is Raspbian - a derivative of Debian. The weather software is 'weewx' written in Python and the system utilises Lighttpd, Sqlite3, PHP5 and also has attached Wifi, Motorola Atrix lapdock and external USB drive with a Plugable 7 port powered hub powering peripherals and the Raspberry Pi itself.
